Ruffled Lemon Zest card

The Lemon Zest stamp set and coordinating Lemon Builder punch are handy to have around for a quick card.  That was my first thought after seeing it in the Annual Catalogue.  I also really like the sentiments of this stamp.
I stamped the lemons with Daffodil Delight ink, wiped off the stamp and then added a little bit of Lemon Lime Twist ink using a sponge dauber.

Just love the Dynamic Textured Impressions folders!  They add so much dimension to a card, while still keeping it clean and simple.  Here, I used Ruffled.   A couple of strips of Fresh Floral DSP, a single border of Pick A Pattern Washi Tape and two elegant Faceted Gems and my card was done.  Sweet!  Or should I say, "sour"

Glimmery Stylish Stems

I received the Special Reason stamp set at On Stage and it wasn't love at first sight, and thought if I had the  coordinating Stylish Stems Framelits Dies, it would kindle the love for the stamp set.  While this card only features the Framelits, the stamp set and I have become friends and I will show them off in my next post.  (Save 10% on the stamp set & dies with the Special Reason Bundle).

The lovely Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper looks so pretty with the stamps & dies duo.

I had to use the delicious new Glimmer Paper and I wish you could see the actual card because it's so, so pretty!  The 6" x 6" Glimmer Paper Assortment Pack was added on to the Sale-A-Bration items which you can earn for FREE!  Hurry, because Sale-A-Bration items are ONLY AVAILABLE through March 31st.

Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits

I know I said I was done with balloon cards, but this one has been laying on my work table for two weeks, waiting to be completed. The inside was all done, but I guess I lost some steam after that and left the card front blank. After much procrastination, it finally has a face. After heat-embossing the sentiment, I used the Sponge Brayer to add some strokes of color, in Pacific Point, Crushed Curry and Emerald Envy. Easy peasy.

Here's a tip: Stamp and heat-emboss sentiment first. Then sponge on the color and remove any ink from the surface of the embossed image with a soft cloth or tissue. Or, if you're like me, use your finger! HA!
